THE END.

THE END is the first No-Line image i have done in a while.
Also the first drawing of a human i have done in a while.
So, two things i haven't done for a while smashed into one image.
I don't want to mention anything about the background for the image, i am putting it here to document my progress in art and the creation of a new image.

Here are the two screenshots i did during the making of the image, showing progression in shading and how the image slowly became more and more alive.

The video does unfortunately have poor quality as my screen recorder is most likely not calibrated correctly.

Red Room.

Well hey there, the last time you heard from me i was speaking about Voodoo Dolls And A Game Plan.
The project itself has been put on a slight hold for further development of characters, plot line and environment and will hopefully be re-started shortly.

In the mean time i am working on a No-Line image (A image without any black out lines to define environments or characters) that my girlfriend inspired me to create.

The mental image of this was quite different for both of us when she told me about the idea.
Her original idea was a clothesline with dead rats hanging from pegs in the foreground and Polaroid images decorating a wall in the background.
Mine was a slightly altered version.
A clothesline in the foreground with rats hanging from pegs.
Further and further into the background you have several clothing lines with Polaroid images hanging to dry from pegs, much similar to the processing of Polaroids in a red room.

Here you have the first hand digital sketch. The original first sketch was done in a haze at 3 in the morning and is not making much sense i'm afraid.

The progress made from the after sketch isn't too much of a significance but it is enough to show a result.

I see a lot of changes i have to do already.
The first thing that stands out is that the Polaroids that i have vaguely formed in the background need to be lager than they currently are, not much of a problem, but enough to annoy me every time i look at the image.

Second i will have to work out where the light is coming from, have individual traits for each rat and continue shading.
The last matter i will have to address is the lighting of the room itself, considering that i wish to have it as similar to a red room as possible.

So, i have a lot of work to do.

Voodoo Dolls And A Game Plan. [Animation idea]

I am going to take this in English as most of the project information is written in that language and as i aim to reach out to a more international audience, and with that said:
Hi.

Allow me to tell you about the newly born project of Voodoo Dolls And A Game Plan.
The project was put into thought and development on 07.01.14 and was mainly music inspired.
The two songs that was the source of my inspiration was from a band named Ghost Town:

Tentacles:

The project itself is still in its extremely early levels of production and i only have a few panels mapped out, a simple storyboard and a written storyboard of the same scene.
Therefore i will not publish any of the project content at this point as i expect to do changes or start completely from scratch again.
What i can publish this far though are the rough character references.

The only character here that is "New" In any sense must be Olly that i created on the same day of project start-up because i needed a male counterpart to the duo of  Liv and Isel.
The creation of Olly also gave me an opportunity of playing with fur coloration and markings as well as creating an Antagonist for the still in development plot.

Environment development:
The environment so far for the plot will me modern day.
Developing this will be a challenge because i have never really taken the time to create environments as the backgrounds of my works are usually abstract and/or dark. This will on the bright side give me training in creating rooms, streets and other every-day environments that have fallen out of focus in my day to day works.

At this time of the project there isn't really much more to say about it other than that i'm trying to steadily progress, both on character and plot development.
